Send messages automatically
Schedule a template before check-in, before or after check-out, on booking or on cancellation.
A rule sends a template to the guest or owner of each stay it covers, only once. HostlyApp checks the rules every 5 minutes.
Create a rule
- Communication > Automatic sending rules > New rule.
- Choose the template (create your templates first).
- Choose When:
- When a booking is received
- Before check-in
- Before check-out
- After check-out
- When a booking is cancelled
- For before or after, enter the number of days and the time (the property’s time).
- If needed, narrow down the stays it covers: platforms, properties, minimum nights.
The rule is created turned off: click Turn on when it is ready. Messages then go out automatically.
Examples
- Arrival information 2 days before at 10:00, with the check-in link.
- Thank-you the day after check-out.
- Owner told about every new booking.
