Create a property and fill in its listing
Add a rental, then complete its features, description, amenities and house rules.
A property is a rental unit: an apartment, house, studio, villa or room. Everything starts from it: calendar, bookings, cleaning and rates.
Add the property
- Open Properties in the menu (in the Overview group on a computer, the Properties tab on a phone).
- Click Add a property.
- Enter its name, address (street and number, postcode, city, country) and the maximum number of guests.
The time zone is worked out from the country and city. It is used for check-in and check-out times and for message sending times.
Complete the listing
A property page has several tabs. The Listing tab covers:
- Features: type, size, bedrooms, beds (single, double, queen, king and sofa beds), bathrooms, cleaning fee and registration number.
- Description: a one- or two-sentence summary (500 characters at most) and the full description.
- Amenities: tick what the rental offers (Wi-Fi, kitchen, parking, cot…).
- Times and house rules: check-in from, check-in until, check-out before, pets, smoking, parties and other rules.
Click Save listing. This information is reused in the guidebook and on your booking page.
Deactivate a property
At the bottom of the page, Deactivate property pauses it without deleting anything: it is no longer synced or shown in the calendar. You can reactivate it at any time.
