A booking is missing or the sync fails
What to check when a stay is missing, appears twice, or a property shows a failed sync.
The booking is not in HostlyApp yet
- Over iCal, platforms publish their calendars with a delay: allow up to 15 minutes on HostlyApp’s side, sometimes more on the platform’s side. Click Sync now in the property’s Platforms tab.
- Check that the link you pasted is the export link of this listing.
A property shows a failed sync
The property list flags properties whose last read failed. Most often, the iCal link was regenerated or deleted on the platform. Copy the export link again, paste it, then click Update.
A duplicate or a double booking
- Check that each platform imports the HostlyApp link meant for it (Links to import into the platforms). Otherwise it cannot see the dates taken elsewhere.
- If you clicked Generate new links, import the new links into each platform and remove the old ones.
A Booking.com closure shows as a booking
Booking.com publishes a booking and a closed date in the same way. Open the booking and choose the right type: it is kept at the next syncs.
With the official connection
The Official connection box shows the last sending and, if it was refused, the platform’s message. Send everything again restarts a full sending. If the refusal persists, email us with that message.
